Buyer assurance

Hazelnut quality and food-safety coordination

Quality approval is more than checking calibre or appearance. Commercial quality, sensory performance, food-safety requirements, intended use and destination must be aligned before an offer becomes an approved supply programme.

How the process works

Start with the buyer specification

We review product state, calibre or particle distribution, processing profile, sensory expectations, defect tolerances, packaging and intended application. If a requirement is not stated, it should not be assumed to be part of the offer.

Separate quality from safety

Size, colour, flavour, skin retention and broken kernels are commercial-quality matters. Aflatoxin category, allergen information, analytical scope, traceability and applicable destination requirements are food-safety matters. Both groups are addressed explicitly.

Approve against the actual application

Where appropriate, samples are assessed in the buyer’s recipe and process. An approved sample can support colour and sensory agreement, but it does not replace a written specification or lot-specific release requirements.

Confirm evidence before supply

Available documents, testing expectations, sampling responsibility and release conditions are agreed for the transaction. Certification status and analytical evidence are confirmed rather than presumed.

Frequently asked questions

Does Meyal Foods promise a standard certificate set for every product?

No. Available certificates and documents depend on the product, processor and programme and are confirmed before the offer.

Does a sample guarantee every future lot?

A sample supports approval, while each supplied lot remains subject to the agreed specification, controls and release terms.
